Private Institutions. The theme of private education in Greece is very actual at the moment. Only recently all Greece was in strikes because of passing the rights of Piraeus port to one large Chinese company. Company Cosco promised to enclose a big sum of money in port reconstruction, but didn't told a word about reduction of workers. With private higher education most likely will be the same scenario. Someone wants very much to earn a lot of money. These people are not bothered at all by what may happen actually. Certainly any private institute has more possibilities to invite to teach strong teachers, but this part of teachers will simply leave the state universities. There are a lot of negative points in what is going on at the moment. It remains to hope that there will be something good and those people who deal with this situation, will think about the future of Greece. I chatted today with my friend from Moldova. He told me that their system doesn’t work more than one week. And he can’t pay with his Visa card for the hosting in USA. It’s so terrible! This can’t be done in all banks of Moldova! Is it really possible in our time? This is just like turned off electricity. People only have to hope that everything will be ok soon. Comments Home
